I've got to come up with a way to mark them that James will like. I'm still thinking of using survey flags but "bury" them so they don't show. :-)<br />Sheryl Smith-Rodgershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04707017321692698815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8567299696963524925.post-1258607411458001722015-04-22T08:29:15.555-05:002015-04-22T08:29:15.555-05:00I tried germinating antelope horns from purchased ...I tried germinating antelope horns from purchased seed that I chilled overwinter but didn't have any success. SO frustrating! Native plants ordered from monarchwatch haven't been made available for delivery to Texas yet. Thank goodness experts are revisiting their accusations that using non-native milkweed will potentially harm butterflies. And I did at least find 2 butterfly weed plants at a local nursery. Efforts continue! I've even considered buying some surveying stakes with flags so I can REALLY pinpoint their locations. But James says they'd look trashy if I left them up. I agree. :-)Sheryl Smith-Rodgershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04707017321692698815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8567299696963524925.post-49015660098182684922015-04-20T08:08:41.163-05:002015-04-20T08:08:41.163-05:00There are going to be some very fortunate monarchs...There are going to be some very fortunate monarchs that find their way to your gardens and meadow this year.
