My cousin Rick Dobie made this bird house just for me. Took awhile but we finally hung it up! (James did all the work.) Thank you, Rick!
UPDATE–This very evening, a wren couple are moving into the bottom duplex!....wait a minute, folks.... Correction....BOTH apartments are getting occupied!!

I, too, love to watch the birds. I'm glad your duplex became occupied so quickly. You will thoroughly enjoy watching the baby birds grow!
Yes! And yesterday, I spotted a baby robin perched on our chiminea. At first I wasn't sure what kind of bird it was, then I figured it out. So I kept watching. Sure enough, the baby flew high up into an oak, and an adult, which had been foraging in another corner of the back yard, flew up beside it. The baby twittered its wings as the adult fed it. So cool!
