In the last several weeks, we've noticed a LOT of bees on our hummingbird feeders and bird baths. So anyone know what they're doing with all that water?
As an owner of a hive I can say that they bring the water back to the hive to cool it. Also they need to keep the hive at a certain humidity to make honey and raise their brood. The warmer it gets the more water they need.
