We have at least three yellow garden spiders in our gardens this summer. This one has moved and built a web in front of our garage door. But fortunately, I can back my car in and out without bothering her.
These spiders are absolutely gorgeous. Unlike the monarch butterflies, these I've seen lots of this year. Comparatively speaking anyway. I think they make great gardening companions.
