Just since Saturday, the little cenizo across the street from our house busted into blooms! I don't remember seeing it yesterday so maybe the big event happened this morning. At any rate, I walked over to take a closer look and got a whiff of something not so nice. I think it was the blooms. I'll have to double check that. But wow, you should have seen all the bees! There were so many, the bush buzzed!Last time, this cenizo bloomed was about nine months ago (see my November 10, 2008, post).

my friend just gave me 3 bushes that i need to plant. they will go in the back for sure. thank you for the inspiring couple posts about them though! i need to get those babies in the ground..;)
