ANNOUNCEMENT: Just arrived! We've got new babies in the fennel! They're suppose to be black swallowtail larvae, but they sure don't look like it. Stay tuned!
Yep,they are early instars of Black Swallowtail larve. The last instar is when they look like the pictures. Mine a now a pale blue with black/yellow stripes. I think I saw 5 almost ready to pupate and one that I think was starting to pupate on my mallow.
