So pretty! Would love to know where you got your climbing Snapdragon Vine. I've always wanted one of these since they are a host plant for the Buckeye butterflies.

Hi, Steph: I bought both the snapdragon and purple clematis vines from the Native Plant Society in Boerne last April. They have a booth every year at the native plant sale at the county fairgrounds. Do you have a chapter in your area?

I'm not sure, however Boerne is pretty close. I've always wanted to join the NPS.

Does this vine want sun or shade? I have a ton of dappled shade in my garden. I realize most butterfly plants are in full sun. I've also thought of planting Frog's Fruit.

I think ours gets mostly shade. Some sun. I transplanted some frogfruit growing along a neighborhood street. Some also grows in our DRIVEWAY. Surely it grows wild where you are?
