James just confessed awhile ago. He left the back porch light on all night. So THAT'S why this convention of gray moths hung around most of the day. I believe these are toothed Phigalia moths (Phigalia denticulata), based on a March 2, 2011, blog post of mine, "New-to-me moth and bug." I may not have the species right but hopefully the genus at least.
