Hey, look who wanted to share the bathroom with me this morning! Yes. I know. Most folks would likely grab a towel and smash this guy to smithereens. Not me. The sight of eight legs anywhere always thrills me. So I grabbed a camera and got some shots of this handsome wolf spider. Then I escorted him outside in the glass we keep by our sink. Happy travels, Mister!

Nice photos! As you might guess I don't kill spiders either and though I have learned to recognize wolf spiders I didn't notice that it was a Mrs. in my house recently until I used an insect catcher that uses a battery powered gentle vacuum. When I did hundreds of baby spiders she was carrying on her body ran in every direction making me quite the homewrecker. Sigh ... How fascinating that many spiders and insects care for their young. Bees, ants, and wasps are in this class for sure, but even some beetles.
I like you. You are not afraid of spiders. :-) I found you via link posted by the Texas Wildscapes page on facebook. :-)
Oh, I LOVE LOVE LOVE spiders, Lee Ann! They're my specialty! :-)
