First daffodil and other beauty

First daffodil of the season! Wow, it's early, too!

 Quince has started.
I missed the fragrant honeysuckle's blooming peak.

I spotted a Mexican honey wasp on the honeysuckle.

I'm not familiar with that white honeysuckle. The blooms look a bit different somehow to honeysuckles I've grown. It's beautiful! Is there an ID? Nice shot of that Mexican honey wasp.

Hi, Sandy! I fixed that. Fragrant honeysuckle, alas, is not a native. But it's a favorite of a native plant nursery owner in Medina.

Thanks so much, Sheryl. I love visiting that Medina nursery. He has the best & biggest Macho Ferns I've ever seen! Very knowledgeable regarding Texas natives.
