
The other day, James asked me what these things were. Texas stork's bill, I replied. "Yeah, but what are THESE?" he asked, pointing to strange-looking, bumpy growth thing. on one. "I don't know," I shrugged.
Note to self: Find out.
I just now poked around on the Internet some, but no luck. Any ideas? I'm pretty sure these are Erodium texanum.

Well those are weird, aren't they! If this was a tree I'd guess some sort of gall insect was at work. Keep us posted!
