This and that

Red fruit on our Texas nightshade.
Bee on wedelia.
Horsemint.
I love ponyfoot.
Lindheimer's beebalm.
Still waiting for my Simpson's rosinweed to bloom.
We planted a few tomato and pepper plants in our beds. Why not?

I noticed the leaves moving around. Stuck my finger in and found a busy beetle.

I'd been watching a patch roadside of what I thought was horsemint but I now think it is Lindheimer's bee balm - white blossoms - though IDs made at drive-by speeds are super questionable when I make them at least. They're lovely and fingers crossed we get a few hours more of sun soon so pollinators can get some work done!
