Not a happy scene (above) that I came upon while walking by in our dining room. I glanced out the porch door window and what did I chance see but a bold jumping spider (my favorite species) eating one of my thread-legged bug friends on the outside of the screened door. Heavy sigh. All I could do was fetch my camera.
I wish I could have saved the bug, but then I know spiders need to eat, too. James also reminded me that my bug friends catch and eat moths on the screen. That's nature.
