Death camas
A wildflower corner that James lets me keep natural.
I spotted some blue curls in bloom in the wildflower corner!
The wildflower corner is beneath a hackberry.
Pink mint is flourishing in a built-in flower bed.
Past gifts of amaryllis in bloom!

Seeing the photos of the cedar sage and Texas betony reminds me to tell you that I have both planted together in my front yard and the deer have started to eat the Texas betony flowers but have left the cedar sage alone. This after years of growing there! Oh well, the plant is now branching out nicely and getting fuller. Guess I'll spray it with Liquid Fence so the deer will get the hint that it's not snack food!
You have one betony that returns each year? Mine reseed and have moved around. Good to know about the deer and betony. Thanks!
